Completed automation of gold and silver Mizuhiki production
1977 Changed name to Shinmeido Co., Ltd.
1980 Change of president (Tadao Sekijima ⇒ Takeshi Sekijima)
1983 Shinmeido Co., Ltd. establishes four cooperative factories for Mizuhiki production
1985 Constructed head office administration building
1988 Began production in Manila, Philippines (closed in 2005)
1989 Established Ebisu Ltd. (sales company of charms and ornaments)
1990 Began production of Mizuhiki products in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China (closed in 2004)
